Where did life take you today (10/29/09)?

• Losing--I lost track of some important goals I had set even while still a child.
• Searching--I had a heart-to-heart talk with myself, reaching down into my inner most being.  Some of what I saw was in disorder, some was tainted, and others were still filled with hope, deeply embedded and entangled in life's daily vacuum that has been sucking them all into one dust-filled chamber.
• Finding--I am rediscovering the "new me" and the "new normal" which has to encompass my life choices of marriage, children, career, passion, and spirit.  I am dusting off some of the old dreams and defining some new goals, all aimed at a common vision.  I am liking this day after all.

Where did life take you today (10/23/09)?

• To work--where I faced challenges from the unexpected.
• To meetings--where I was faced with unanticipated dialogue about race relations.
• To childcare pickup-where the plans to pick up changed unexpectedly.
• To home--where an adolescent had unplanned appointments that required a ride, from me!
• To computer--where I realized it was time to change my website.
• To spouse--who wanted to go out--unexpectedly.
